On a roll
For father's day I decided that I would try and make my sister-in-laws raspberry rolls for my wonderful husband! I had never made them before so I was quite hesitant to do so. But a few days prior I made cinnamon rolls (which my family devoured in a measly 2 days) from her recipe which is partly the same recipe,so I thought I could do it. They did turn out fine not quite as pretty as Samera's turn out but taste just fine. Now I find out the majority of my children do not even like raspberry rolls! Hopefully Jimmy will be able to eat them before they get to old!

Feeding Fish
We decided to take the kids to go feed the fish yesterday. It rained on the way there and on the way back but it wasn't actually raining when we got there or the entire time we stayed! The kids love to go and feed the fish a couple times each year. There were so many fish yesterday and some of them were HUGE! Dylan is never really interested in feeding the fish he is always near the shallow water trying to catch the teenie tiny fish. He was so grumpy when I told him it was time to go and he hadn't actually caught one. I was so glad he didn't catch any, that would have been an even bigger fight telling him he couldn't keep it! Addalyn was so funny, she didn't like to walk on the little wooden platform (deck) all of the cracks scared her. She kept trying to only walk on one plank so she didn't step on the cracks! We all had a great time out as a family.

We're not done yet!

Okay so I put a baby ticker up on my blog a few days ago but haven't actually said (typed) the words... "We are going to have another little baby!" I'm not very far along but the kids know because I got pretty sick from it and so we told them so I was able to get some extra help from them while I was sick. But since they know, they have told all their friends and actually total strangers. Any one I'm talking to even if I don't know them they tell them "Mommy has a baby in her tummy!" They are ALL so excited! We aren't going to find out what this one is, I've always wanted to have that surprise in the delivery room but have never gone without finding out before hand, but I'm determined to go without knowing this time! I had an ultra sound and have never had one this early in a pregnancy, It was really neat to see the baby all formed yet SOOO tiny! So I guess for those of you who have had an ultra sound yourself, you may be able to tell what is what in the picture otherwise it probably just looks like a little blob!

Field Day
On Monday the kids had their field day. It was perfect weather in the morning when Abby's class was outside, but by the afternoon when Dylan's class went out it was just about to start raining. They only finished the long distance run and softball throw before it began to rain. Then it rained almost the entire time they were oustide! It didn't seem to bother any of the kids though! I was soaked as were Jak and Adda. Once the rain did stop they (Jak & Adda) decided to play in the puddles that were left behind, trying to swim in them at one point. Both Abigail and Dylan did really well and had a great time! Dylan ribboned in every event and Abigail got a ribbon for 5 out of the 9 events!
